KW Red Day 2017 Recap

Yesterday was a special day for Location Williamson and all of Keller Williams. We had the privilege of serving the local community on Keller Williams’ annual Red Day.

Red day stands for Renew, Energize, Donate. It’s a day where 150,000 KW agents from around the world all give where they live. It’s really inspiring to know on this day all KW offices close and agents stop what they’re doing to give to people in need!

Our Franklin market center chose to serve once again at the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Brentwood. We were tasked with renovating one of the cottages that some of the children and house parents live in. Half the group was inside painting, cleaning, repairing, and remodeling each room. The other half (our team!) took on the outside and gave it a nice facelift.

Our amazing staff is Red Day ready!!

The first task of the day was refreshing one of the front flower beds. Everything is set out and ready to go!

Many hands make light work! The front yard was looking fresh in no time. It was truly amazing to watch how quickly the inside and outside of this cottage was transformed into a beautiful space. Everyone really came together to pitch in where needed.

About the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home

You’ve probably seen the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Brentwood driving on Franklin Road. It’s a beautiful campus with a more beautiful mission. These house parents, volunteers, and leaders give selflessly in order for these children to grow up in a better home with a brighter future. We got the chance to hear from a local police officer who grew up at the Brentwood location at our Inspirational Brunch last month. Hearing his story that went from gripping pain to eternal hope was inspiring. Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home receives no federal funding, so they rely solely on donations and volunteers. We were extremely grateful to have the opportunity to serve these great people and cannot wait to hear the stories that come from the cottage!
