For several years now, there’s been talk about a town center coming to Spring Hill on the Tennessee Children’s Home property. The property is located off of Main Street, just north of Kedron Road. This is just one of two major developments in the works for Spring Hill. Read more about the Alexander Farm development HERE. dHere are some things to know about the project…
What will be in Spring Hill’s Town Center?
According to Spring Hill Homepage, the town center will consist of a new city hall, library, 320,000 sq feet of office and retail space, and 600 residential units. It also includes a park area, visitor’s center, and amphitheater. The entire property is 103 acres.
How long will it take to build?
The proposed plan will take approximately 7-10 years to complete.
What will happen to the Tennessee Children’s Home?
The Tennessee Children’s Home located on Main Street will move to a new campus on Doctor Robertson Road.
What’s the next step?
The next step for this project is to rezone the property for mixed-use. It’s likely there will be a vote on the rezoning in February. Stay tuned for future updates!
